In the 1930s, together with his brother Oleg, he made cartoons (signed by the MOA) for the Bezbozhnik and Rabochaya Moskva newspapers, the Prozhektor magazine. Since 1932, he drew political caricatures for the Moscow magazines Krokodil, Ogonyok, Izvestia, Literaturnaya Gazeta and other publications. Participant of exhibitions since 1934. Author of graphic albums “They are without a mask”, “Satire”, “Satire on the enemies of the world”, “Colonizers – out!” (together with A. Bazhenov), “Be on the lookout.” Mark Abramov’s posters are distinguished by extraordinary sharpness and expressive expressiveness, their plots and themes are somewhat provocative.
