Warm greetings from Japan. Thank you very much for visiting our listing. This is a 1972 Guild F-312 12 Strings Guiar. Guild was founded in 1952 by Alfred Delonge and five other craftsmen, and is known as a popular American acoustic guitar manufacturer following Martin and Gibson, and as a leading brand in the folk and rock scenes of the 1960s and 1970s. The F-312 was released in 1964 and is known as a masterpiece 12-string guitar that still has a loyal fan base today. This guitar is an indispensable 12-string guitar when talking about Guild flat-top guitars, and is a masterpiece with rosewood on the sides and back. In the vintage market, mahogany models such as the F-112 are overwhelmingly in circulation, but this model is hard to find. What is particularly noteworthy is that it has an easy-to-play neck. Compared to 12-string guitars from other manufacturers, the slightly slim and gentle U-shape fits comfortably in the hand, and the main reason for this is that it was not a direct conversion of a 6-string guitar, but was developed and designed as a completely separate model. The sound is impressive with its unique excellent sound separation, and after nearly 45 years of production, it has a deep and heavy sound. It is perfect for a wide range of uses such as three-finger and lead playing, as well as for accompanying songs. Probably you will be able to fully enjoy the charm of the mature Guild 12-string sound. There is plenty of room for the frets, and the neck is in good condition. The top has sun deterioration and paint loss, and there are other dents and marks appropriate for the age of the guitar, but no cracks. There are no endpin jack processing marks or strap pins attached to the neck heel, but there are areas where the paint has peeled off on the back, and some of the top bracing has been scraped off. The tuners, pickguard, fingerboard, finish, and hard case are all original. The bridge has been replaced at a certain workshop, and the neck has been reset (refretted and the nut and saddle replaced). This Guild 12-string rosewood model is not widely available on the vintage. It is a highly recommended item. The case has signs of wear due to storage. Note: The stand is not included.
